💡 How to hang wallpaper

Before starting work and hanging the wallpaper, please pay attention to the following aspects: check the article number, the batch number, and the pattern repeat symbols. Please keep the control slip and wallpaper samples.
Carefully prepare the surface
Surface preparation – the surface must be dry, sound, capable of absorbing moisture evenly, clean, neutral, and smooth. Old wallpaper and water-soluble coatings must be removed. Cracks and holes should be filled with a spackling compound if necessary, while highly absorbent surfaces must be pre-primed with wallpaper paste (sizing). Old, unstable surfaces that cannot bear a load must be primed with a specially designed wallpaper primer.
Attention! Non-woven wallpaper must be hung on a uniformly colored surface. For this reason, we recommend applying a pigmented base coat under the wallpaper.

The adhesive must be applied directly to the wall.
We recommend using a high-quality, reliable brand of adhesive specifically designed for non-woven wallpaper, and following the preparation instructions provided. Thoroughly mix the non-woven wallpaper adhesive according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Using a roller, apply the adhesive to the wall over the width of the wallpaper roll.

Hanging the wallpaper.
Hanging non-woven wallpaper always begins "from the light," which means that wallpapering the walls should start near a window. Ensure that the first strip of wallpaper is applied in a perfectly vertical line and properly aligned vertically, so that subsequent strips can be hung straight.
After the wall is coated with adhesive, the non-woven wallpaper is applied directly to the wall and smoothed out with a roller; moreover, this type of wallpaper requires no soaking time. Using a soft wallpapering brush, a cloth, or a microporous rubber roller, press the strip firmly against the wall and smooth it out to prevent the formation of air bubbles.

Trimming the excess and finishing up...
Trim the overhanging edges of the wallpaper at the top and bottom. Hang the subsequent strips of wallpaper perfectly edge-to-edge (butt joint). A conical seam roller can be used at the joints. Please note that strong heat and drafts must be avoided during application and drying. The optimal working temperature ranges from 18 °C to 25 °C.
Additional tips
Another advantage of decorating walls with non-woven wallpaper is that, if applied properly, it can be easily and completely removed dry from the wall during your next renovation.

Description
The main distinguishing feature of this wallpaper is its exquisite, dense pattern of meadow flowers and leaves (in the millefleurs style). The design harmoniously blends muted, warm grey-brown (taupe) and soft, dusty pink (dusty pink) tones against a light, creamy white background.
The key added value of this design is its deeply matt finish, which is complemented by a fine, tactile fabric texture (linen or cotton weave). Visually, this design evokes hand-painted, natural textiles or a delicate vintage tapestry, completely eliminating any unwanted sheen and giving the walls a distinctly organic, romantic and visually soft appearance.
In interior design and environmental psychology, this combination of delicate floral motifs, muted pastel shades and a matt fabric texture is the ideal technique for creating an emotionally warm, nostalgic and exceptionally cosy space.
The psychological aspect and its impact on the space:
-
Emotional warmth and ‘Cottagecore’ tranquillity: The delicate, dusty pink floral motifs, combined with the earthy grey-brown leaves, subconsciously create a strong connection with nature, rural romance and a summer garden. This combination acts as a visual calming agent, reducing stress and filling the space with the energy of love, care and familial warmth.
-
Natural light diffusion and a sense of security: The deeply matt texture perfectly absorbs and gently diffuses natural and artificial light, preventing irritating glare even in sun-drenched rooms. The fabric-like surface removes the architectural ‘coldness’ from the walls, lending them a tangible softness and creating a safe, enveloping atmosphere of refuge.
-
Visual richness and the concealment of imperfections: Although the pattern is delicate and rich in detail, the muted colour palette ensures it never becomes overpowering. The pronounced texture of the fabric, combined with the dense floral pattern, provides excellent visual depth and flawlessly conceals minor imperfections in the walls, resulting in an elegant and aesthetically complete overall look.
Expert recommendations for room selection:
Thanks to its ability to bring a touch of gentle romance and a tangible sense of cosiness to a room, this wallpaper is particularly suitable for:
-
Bedrooms and children’s rooms (especially for girls): to create a dreamy, safe and visually (as well as tactilely) soft environment that fosters positive emotions and undisturbed relaxation.
-
Provence, Shabby Chic or rustic romantic interiors: this design will perfectly complement rooms featuring light-coloured or natural wooden furniture, linen textiles, wicker baskets and vintage-style décor.
-
For cosy living rooms or dining areas: as an accent piece that will bring a spring-like lightness and feminine elegance to the room, creating the ideal backdrop for leisurely tea-drinking and family conversations.
